Because of this, it is also inevitable that many Korean actors have gained popularity in the Philippines. Korean language has become popular in the country as well. It has somehow affected the Philippine entertainment industry many ways. Their music has dominated the local radio for several weeks. Only recently, popular Korean pop celebrities like 2NE1 and the Wonder Girls have gone to the country due to the popular demand among the locals. In addition, the popular Korean heartthrob Kim Bum from one of the most popular Korean shows Boys over Flowers came in the country for RC Cola commercial project with the local actress Maja Salvador.
