What’s the best low/mid range priced DVD Player?
Bought a cheapie not long ago, brand name beginning with PH…… Thought it might last long enough till the time came to look at the new laser types and to pay the money for a quality product. What we bought wouldn’t even play two discs without wrecking them. Just need something to watch movies on and not looking to record and all, at the moment. Any suggested good brands and further to this, any suggested good brands and or models for a much better system at a later date?

Personally, I love my Apex 1100W, I’ve had it for about 4 years now and it still works flawlessly (cost less than $60!), but I don’t think they make that model anymore. Not sure how the newer Apexes perform, but you could check them out on the above link.
