Will Criterion eventually stop releasing movies on DVD?
….now that Blu-ray is the deal-io.
Before, Criterion used to do what it does now (Gets super-rare and art house films on HD DVD) but on Laserdiscs.

Not for a while.. and beside, the Criterion collection already has an extensive list of DVDs, so they will continue, and even if they eventually stop you will still see their DVDs around.. The Only problem with there Blu-Ray releases, is that they will be only releasing about 5 movies every few months.. At that rate it would take forever to match their collection- but I do imagine that along with the converting DVD-Blu Rays on their list, they will release all their new-to the collection DVDs on Blu Ray format when they are released.
