Will leopard geckos think it’s night with a red heat bulb?

Right now I just keep the normal light on 24/7 (I know it’s bad but it’s all I could afford), if I buy a red heat bulb will they think it’s night time?

You mean you keep a normal light on it so that way its bright in his tank 24/7? Thats really bad and can stress your leopard gecko out enough to cause him to stop eating and die. The red night heat bulb must be used at night, leos cannot see red, so its like its night out to them.
