Which actor in the movies or on TV played the best Robin Hood, and why do you prefer that one?

Carl Elwes………. I’m surprised not to see him in more spoofy flicks…. The Princess Bride is still one of the few movies that I own on DVD, but when it comes on TV I watch anyway.

I completely hated Kevin Costner as Robin Hood….. OK movie but Kevin Costner makes no attempt to sound like an Medieval English Yoeman. Kevin Costner as a sword fighter makes me laugh….. Morgan Freeman is the real star of RH: Prince of Thieves
