It is ‘The Exorcist’ that tops the list of the horror movies. This picture is a visual type of the novel ‘The Exorcist’ and this one is certain to give you goose bumps. It is full of thrill and suspense until the end. It keeps you guessing until the last moment. It has amazing computer effects to add to the terror in the flick. It is even scarier to understand that some bits of the flick are true situations. The exorcist was re-released with additional footage and added computer effects recently. Therefore do not miss to wear your contacts to enjoy all the visual effects.

‘Jacob’s ladder’ is another movie that may scare you to death. The lead figure of the flick is Jacob Singer, a Vietnam vet who suffers from nightmares of war. He can’t figure the explanation for the same and finds himself dealing with demons pretty much everywhere. The better part about the flick is you are unable to figure out what is for real and what isn’t, just like Jacob. This motion picture will make you sweat even in biting cold. But, that minor sweating won’t result in weightloss. So, don’t be lazy and do some exercise to lose those pounds.

If you are a feeble hearted person then ‘The Sixth Sense’ is a complete no-no for you. This one stars Joel Osment as Cole Sear who has a 6th sense to see dead folks. This one is like a conventional horror film. It manages to frighten you with any computer effects. It has an amazing script and a good cinematography. If you have a hypertensive tendency, you could be at a risk if you watch this flick. If so avoid it.

‘The Innocents’ is another horror flick that will frighten the pants off you. Based on Henry James’ book ‘The Turn of the Screw’, the film draws the viewer into a creepy and enormously horrifying version of Victorian England. Taut script makes you sit down on the edge of your seat until the very end of the film.

Even though you think that you are a braveheart, these films may prove otherwise. Hence it is advised that you don’t watch these alone.
