Season Good

Is this long, drawn out primary season good or bad for the democratic party?
My fear is that with all this time, energy, and money spent against each other, that’s less time, money, and energy to prepare for the election in November.
I think it has hurt the democrats. When your own party member is pointing out your flaws, it only provides fodder for the opposing party in the general election.
There has been a tremendous amount of ill-will created within the party with the splitting of super delegates and endorsements coming from sitting senators, governors, and congress people.
National politics is all about favors from someone more powerful than you…not supporting the person who wins can be a death sentence for your funding and committee memberships.
