Removing the region lock from a DVD player any side effects?
The same as what the topic says. I’m planning to remove my DVD player region lock so before I do I was wondering whether there are any potential side effects. My player by the way is a Samsung HT-TQ25. Thanks
The hack listed below is non-destructive, and will not invalidate your players warranty. To perform the correct sequence of steps you will only need access to your players front panel and its remote control. Always make sure that the drive tray is empty before following the procedure listed below, and to answer your questions there aren’t any side effects cause my cousin has this exact model.
Disconnect your player from its power source for thirty seconds
2. Reconnect your player to its power source
3. Press the Power On button on your remote control
4. Press the Enter button on your remote control
5. Press the 8 button on your remote control
6. Press the 4 button on your remote control
7. Press the 2 button on your remote control
8. Press the 6 button on your remote control
9. Press the 9 button on your remote control
10. Press the Enter button on your remote control
11. Your player should now place itself in Standby mode
12. Press the Power On button on your remote control
