My Nicklaus Signature Series clubs are peeling plastic from the edge of the clubface…is that bad?

should i return them and get new clubs?

Is the plastic a green color (or whatever color your driving range mat is)? If so, then it’s just the material that came off the mat that you’re hitting on (friction/heat causes the plastic material that the faux grass is made off to melt onto your club). If it’s a different color than the mat, then you should get different clubs.
