how much do pokemon heart gold and soul silver use the touch screen?

beacause I have an old ds with a touch screen which wont calibrate and is quite annoying to use.. thanks.

Lol don’t worry I have the old DS too, I don’t even have a stylus and I beat the game in a week! xD
Basically it doesn’t absolutely require you to use the touch screen.
