Were the old spaghetti westerns shot in Italian and then daubed over in English?

In Clint Eastwoods spaghetti Westerns, the good the bad the ugly, a fist full of dollars, and a few dollars more. How did he film that? Did he Speak in English and the other actors in Italian or did he Speak it in Italian and then daub it over in English along with the other actors, or did they all just Speak english during filming?

Most Spaghetti=Western were shot in Spain, not even in Italy, because it was cheaper and looked more a US desert-like location. Anyway the English speaking actors spoke in English and usually Italians in Italian and Spaniards in Spanish.
Then they were dubbed for each nation, including Italy, the US and Spain.
