The Memory Foam Mattress Pad
I’m sure that as you’re shopping for some good mattress pads, you would find this mattress which was coined as “Memory Foam”. So what is this “memory form mattress”? Will it increase your memory capacity?
Certainly not! Let me tell you a little more on it.
Memory form is a type of foam that was invented by Research Center in NASA. The idea of this foam is to shield the aircraft by adding a few support. Charles A. Yost, one of the contributor to the invention of the foam also named it “temper foam”.
Slowly, this type of foam has gotten some business interests. It was first been used in hospitals where they will support patients to improve their conditions. Before long, this type of foam been made available to the consumers. The application has been used in bed and even bags.
What makes this foam special is that it has higher density than other foam mattresses. That is why they can take in impact. Have you watch an advertisment where a person dropped an egg on a pad and it doesn’t break? That’s the memory foam.

I had myself tried such mattresses in the stores. According to the saleperson, there are 2 groups of people when it comes to these mattresses: One will love it and the other will not like it at all.
I’m the one who love such mattresses but my wife hates it. When I tried it, it feels very comfortable as the mattress will fit my body shape instantly. However, one thing about such mattress is that you will find it difficult to turn yourself when sleeping. This is one thing that my wife doesn’t like.
A warning here: Infants should never use memory foams. The rationale is that babies will find it hard to turn themselves because of it’s custom-fit properties. Leaving your babies on such mattress will multiply the risks of death.
