I was asked out but…your thoughts please?

that was two weeks ago. He said money was tight right now. I told him I was free this weekend and we could go for dinner and come back and watch a dvd. He said that would be nice. Haven’t heard back. Do you think I should give up. Why would he do this when he seems to like me. I was going to invite him for supper the following weekend. Whats your take on this behavoiur. I’m disappointed was looking forward to it and getting to know him. Why would he ask me if he doesen’t plan to follow througth with it.
