Tech Dvd
I need help with a Coby DVD player, and their tech help is no help. Help please?
I have a Coby DVD player (model 224-Progressive scan). I hook up the three RCA jacks (red, green, and blue) into the player and into the TV, and everything on the screen is scrambled, scrolling color. The sound is fine though. Because of this scrolling color, I can’t visually see the setup menu options to try to fix this. I’ve also confirmed that the wires are all tight, and the colors match correctly.
I had an old DVD with the same cables, and it worked fine (but I had to replace this DVD, because it can’t read certain disks… it was getting pretty old).
Anyhow, Coby’s tech help was NO help whatsoever, and I couldn’t find much at their website. The steps their website listed didn’t work, so please don’t parrot them here. I want to hear from people who OWN a COBY and have had similiar problems.
I’m just hoping that someone has had a similar problem with a Coby DVD player and knows how to fix this. I’d really appreciate it!
