How To Insert A Duvet In A Duvet Cover
It is human nature to take some things for granted especially when they don’t seem to add much value to life. Some days ago I read about how a woman was struggling to put in the duvet in the duvet cover to the point of labelling them “useless” and complicated. In my lifetime I have share a number of times about fabric for duvet covers and what have you but I have never really taken the time to write a post or review ( call it whatever you like) about this.
Allow me to share with you some of the easier way you can employ when doing this. Applying these tips will save you a lot of time and also damage to your king duvet covers with colorful mix of patterns caused by the pulling and folding and helplessness.
I have met different people who do it differently but one who stood out is a woman who pratically crawls inside her flannel duvet sets so she can be able to pull the comforter and fit it into place. That is way too much work if you ask me – apart from the fact that you may want to scrub the floor thoroughly first to avoid messing up your freshly washed cover this is just not right.
One easier way to do it effectively is to simply roll it up like a carpet. After you do that simply slip it into the cover and then unroll it. Alternatively you can just turn the cover inside out and then line it up perfectly before turning it right side out. While inside out just line up the quilt with the inside seam of the cover. And then once you have lined it up just flip it right side out. While doing it make sure you keep holding on to the corners.
You can also buy some duvet clips. In order to use these, you need to do like above i.e. turn it inside out, line it up then put the clips at each corner at the seam. The clip could be metal but try to find one that is covered in soft foam. Now once you have the clips on to the seam and quilt you can then just flit the cover right side out.

All That Jazz [VHS] $2.39 Choreographer-turned-director Bob Fosse (Cabaret, Lenny) turns the camera on himself in this nervy, sometimes unnerving 1979 feature, a nakedly autobiographical piece that veers from gritty drama to razzle-dazzle musical, allegory to satire. It’s an indication of his bravura, and possibly his self-absorption, that Fosse (who also cowrote the script) literally opens alter ego Joe Gideon’s heart in … |
