What is the best thing to use to catch big catfish off of the shore if you have no access to live bait?

i fish on Belton Lake in Texas. if you know of the place maybe you could share some tips?

Oh sure, stinky animal parts will work for bait for the average channel cat. But you’re in Texas, home of big blues and flatheads. You want a LIVE sunfish for bait.
