Cataclysm Level Zones

Are you in search of cataclysm leveling zones? I’ll break down all the new zones and their appropriate level ranges right here in this article. I’ll list off each zone for each one of the levels from 80 to 85. I will also put information about the new goblin and worgen only starter zones for Cataclysm at the beginning..

Levels 1-15 for Alliance worgen will begin in Gilneas. This is a brand new zone introduced with Cataclysm for the new playable race. Levels 1-15 for Horde goblins will begin in Azhara. This zone has been redesigned for the goblins opposed from a high level area pre Cataclysm. Now, that those two new playable races are out of the way, I will continue on with the new and old zones that suit which levels best.

Starting with levels 80-82 you will most likely want to start with Mount Hyjal and then head over to Vashj’ir until you reach level 83. After you reach level 83, play through Deepholm until you reach level 84. Once you get to level 84, you should go ahead on to Uldum and finish off that zone. If you’re still not level 85 or if you want to just build your reputation and gold up, check out the Twilight Highlands and Tol Barad.

Keep in mind that these zones are all contested. If you are on a populated PVP realm, you may have some issues with being ganked constantly. Personally, I’ve heard of players changing realms just to level and get a little gear before going back to their PVP realms later on when expansions are released. Maybe not a totally bad idea?

Okay that pretty much covers everything. I know there weren’t many details here but I’ve been using an amazing leveling guide that runs as an addon to get me to 85. I just kind of ignore all the quest text and lore and just follow the arrow it gives me to the next quest pickup or turn in.
