Why is Tyler Perry allowed to write and direct?

Everything he’s ever made sucks so bad. I think Hollywood should get a restraining order and Tyler Perry shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a paper or pencil. Agreed?

I just have one question: Why not?

There are many people who write and direct so what’s so different about him? Is it because he doesn’t let other people mess with his stuff so that it maintains the integrity he had originally intended. Wait, that’s it isn’t it. I also believe that you have gotten him mixed up with someone else. I’ve seen practically all of his movies and stageplays and none of them sucked in the slightest.
