Unrated Edition

Rated Edition and Unrated Edition?
Can any one here explaine to me what is the differents between Rated Edition and Unrated Edition of a movie?
Thank You!!!
A rated film is a movie that was given a rating (G, PG, PG-13, R, or NC-17) by the Motion Picture Association of America. An unrated film is one that did not get a rating from the MPAA.
All films from the major studios are released with a rating from the MPAA. But when the film is released on DVD, the studio can add in material that had to be cut because it contained too much sex and/or violence.
So when you see a DVD that says “Unrated” you’re getting to see footage not in the theatrical release.
