Upper Body

What are some ways to build upper body strength without using weights?
I need a way to build up my upper body strength, but I don’t have access to a gym in the summer. Any suggestions?
1. Fill milk containers with water.
Hold them by the handles and do bicep curls, or shoulder presses.
2. You can do dips off from a chair. Look up: dips, for examples.
3. Anything lying around the house that has SOME decent weight to it can easily be transformed into a weight lifting strength building object.
