Tom Cruises’s Career
Tom Cruise has been called many things, but never dull. The globally popular U.S film star in his forties is one of Hollywood’s Brightest stars and is payed millions of dollars for his roles. Cruise perhaps most well known for his role in the mission impossible series, in phis peronal life he is also famed for dating Nicole Kidman, who was considerably taller than him.
That was until he went off the rails, Cruise and Kidman split in the early 2000′s, ironically just after filming an erotic love story together in wgich they played partners, maybe they should have gone on Oceania cruises in an attempt to reconcile their relationship. Cruise kept playing starring roles that attracted critical acclaim and commercial success. His most celebrated starring roles consist of Mission Impossible, Rain Man, Day and Knight and many other box office smashes. In the mid 2000′s he went of the rails a bit.
Cruise’s devotion to scientology was a well publicized fact and was widely accepted by the public until he started making demands of his then wife Katie Holms that their baby was born under special conditions in accordance with his beliefs. No, not on Nile Cruises, that would be crazy! He divided opinion when he decided to lump up and down famously on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show.
Despite these minor blips, Cruise has never really offended or caused public outrage, he has always been a favourite with reporters. He has enough money to go on Cunard cruises whenever he wants and he’s certainly earned it. A great actor if ever there was one, Cruise has shown he can play an older more mature man in Collateral, and he will surely go on to make numerous other great films in the future.
