Version Full
What’s the difference between an upgrade version of photoshop and a full version?
I am buying photoshop for my company, I found a couple of websites that sell photoshop CS2, but there are a huge price difference. They ones that sell the upgrade version is only asking for $200, while the ones that sell the full version ask for $400 to $600. What’s the difference? Do I have to buy the full version first and then get the upgrade version? I’m really lost…
An upgrade version enables you to upgrade from an old to a newer version. It is usually less costly. Often the data file locations are carried over with the upgrade too.
If you try to install an upgrade version but do not have a previous version already installed it will not install.
This is common to most all software, not just Photo Shop
