Where to look for construction law?
As a long-time FAN(atic) of This Old House, I found out about a new, international, law, governing Toilet Water Use restrictions.
In 2001, while renovating the McCues home, Master Plumber Richard Trethewey had a segment, on the show, talking about our “water-thirsty-world”, and how the Koehler Company, of Koehler Wisconsin, is meeting the new demand, for better toilets.
According to a company rep, when the 1.6 gallon law passed, in, or about, 1995, Koehler made a fateful decision, about toilet production.
Complete detail available at PBS.org, and WGBH Boston.
What I want to know is WHERE to look for a downloadable copy, of this 1.6 Gallon Law. Where would one look to find national, and international, law, regarding construction techniques?
There is no international law governing toilets. Many places in the world, like India, have few functioning toilets.
