What is the difference between blu-ray, widescreen, fullscreen, and collector’s edition DVDs?

What is the difference between fullscreen, widescreen, blu-ray, and (two-disc) collector’s edition DVDs?

(A source with your answer would be quite helpful. Thanks!)

The differences are:
Fullscreen: it’s just that. There is no black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.
Widescreen: Bar on top n bottom of screen to mimic the screens at the movie theatre (plus you get to see more of the picture on the sides, as opposed to it being cut off on fullscreen.
Blu Ray: similiar to DVDs , but they have a blue coding and better protected from scratches and fingerprints. Blu Rays can hold more information and has better sound n picture quality.
2 Disc collectors editon DVDs: the first DVD has the movie (and sumtimes some extras), the 2nd disc has special features, like making of, commentary, trailers and other stuff.
