CHOW YUN FAT question for movie buffs?

There’s this one movie with Chow Yun Fat. In one of the scenes that I remember, there were a WHOLE BUNCH of people getting shot up.. like ridiculous. One part (Chow Yun Fat) slides across the floor and jabs his guns into the ground to stop himself and continues shooting. .I think he empties the slides to.
I looked up his filmography on Wikipedia but I don’t remember the name of the film OR the character he played. Please help.. ANY input is appreciated and I will pick the best answer. THANKS
